Spartan Chemical Co. Inc. recently expanded its staff with the addition of three regional managers.

Art Hernandez has been appointed regional manager for Spartan’s the Northern California region. Prior to joining Spartan, Hernandez worked for five years as territory manager for Applied Adhesives in Sacramento, California, where he focused on the management of strategic partners across the region including programming, staffing, and implementation, as well as marketing and business development strategies.

Matthew Stephens has joined Spartan as regional manager for the company’s East Texas region. He most previously worked as client relations director for Avenna Healthcare in Tyler, Texas, for five years. Prior to that, Stephens spent 10 years as account manager at Dixie Paper Company, also in Tyler.

Frank Walters has been named regional manager of Spartan’s New York region. Walters has spent the past five years as district manager for Speedway/7-11 throughout upstate New York. Prior to his time with Speedway, Walters spent more than six years as director of sales and operations at Global Manufacturing in Albany, New York.
