Dr. Fisk Johnson, CEO and chairman of SC Johnson, parent company of SC Johnson Professional, was named the recipient of the United Nations (UN) Foundation’s Leadership for a Better World Award.
The honorific is part of the UN Foundation’s annual We the People awards program, which recognizes organizational leaders whose achievements have made measurable impacts in charting a course toward a better world.
Johnson received the Leadership for a Better World Award in recognition of his legacy of leadership for a more sustainable world with expanded opportunity for everyone. The award was presented to Johnson by Laura Turner Seydel, director of the Turner Foundation and chair of the Captain Planet Foundation, as well as a member of the UN Foundation board of directors, during a ceremony hosted in New York last month.
