Dow has appointed Andre Argenton chief sustainability officer and vice president of environment, health, and safety (EH&S).

Argenton succeeds Mary Draves, who has announced her decision to retire in April 2022 after more than 32 years of service with Dow. He has been with the company since 1999, when he joined as a research scientist in Brazil. He has worked in a variety of research and development leadership positions throughout his tenure, most recently serving as vice president of Core Research and Development. In his new position, Argenton will oversee Dow’s corporate sustainability initiatives and EH&S governance.
